Our goals are to build an inclusive culture for disc golfers, foster the creation of public disc golf facilities and events while promoting the stewardship of public lands and the health of our community.
Nichols Park Putting Basket
The basket is located South of the tennis courts along Woodlawn. We leave several disc golf frisbees in the basket with games and tips for all to use and try out. If you are interested in learning more about disc golf the PDGA has an excellent getting started guide.
We are hosting a putting league 5:30-8:00 PM, Wednesday Nights. In December of 2020 Nichols Park Advisory Council voted unanimously in support of a permanent putting basket in the park. We are working through the process with the Chicago Park District and will post updates as that process continues. For more information about Nichols Park please click the Nichols Park button below.
